Eureka Safety's Puncture Hydraulic work gloves feature a knitted 13 gauge outer shell with a hydraulic oil jet resistant coating on the palm and fingertips. The oil proof palm coating provides offers grip and durability in an oily environment. The 13-4 Puncture Hydro gloves have excellent dexterity allow users to keep your hands protected while completing tough maintenance, repair and installation jobs. The hydraulic gloves also offer cut resistance, abrasion resistance and tear resistance.
Testing was completed in a controlled environment against hydraulic jets from a pinhole of 0.3mm. Using standard clean hydraulic oil at room temperature with 250 bar pressure, at 1 second exposure time, with pinhole direct contact to glove and a contact force of ~3N.
The penetrating power of a hydraulic jet will vary considerably depending on hydraulic oil properties, distance from pinhole, diameter of hole, working pressure and exposure time
